The Morrigan ("we", "us") operates themorrigan.ie. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have under Irish and EU data protection law.

What we collect

  • Email address and any optional notes you submit through our signup forms.
  • Business details submitted through the owner listing form (name, business name, location, website, verification categories).
  • Anonymous usage data via PostHog analytics, including page views and interactions. We do not use advertising cookies.
  • Technical data such as IP address, collected incidentally through analytics and email delivery services.

Lawful basis

We process your data on the basis of consent. When you submit a form, you explicitly agree that we may store your details to follow up about your submission.

How we store and use your data

  • Signup submissions are sent to our email inbox via Resend and stored in Andrew K's email account for follow-up.
  • Analytics data is processed by PostHog (EU hosting) in cookieless mode where possible.
  • We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies for analytics. PostHog runs in cookieless configuration. Any cookies set are strictly functional or transactional.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You may also withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
